Rattitude – Where Rats Rule!

Just thinking with how busy it has been in the real world of late that I need to stop in and remind myself of the rat world.  That place filled with twitching noses and long tails; soft tongues and quiet padding feet.

I added a weekly twitter post. There are not a lot of rat keepers that use twitter, or maybe there are? For those that do not tweet and frequent this little piece of rodent-dom, every week there should be an automated digest post made … at least for now.

Some may have noticed I attributed a quote to myself in a recent post. Most likely in the future I will post the author’s name, or anonymous, if I do not know.  If there is no author cited, then I penned the words myself. I hope everyone enjoys them.

We have been successfully transferred to our new hosting service.

From beginning to end, it was about 20 hours, give or take an hour.  The servers are roomier, and faster, too.  It was also a pleasant surpise to see a long forgotten feature of the RatChatter.com forums appear, the spell checker. Thanks HostGator!

Just a bit of news about the RatChatter forums.  They are now offering blogs to some of their members as of today, October 1, 2008.

It seemed time to shakes things up a bit so I thought why not a new look.  Regular visitors may have noticed the subtle changes as we had the static web site converted over to a WordPress installation; and, since we chose WordPress we also imported all of theBrux blog posts that were made at BlogSpot.

I also just recently finished converting the last of the legacy articles and “fixed” up the menus so all the links point to the correct pages.

We appreciate everyone’s patience with the change-over and look forward to more future regular readers.  Remember, it’s free and easy to get involved; just register and you will be able to add your comments to the pages and posts we make. We will be looking forward to your input.

Also, letting the rat out of the bag so to speak, look for more articles and blogs from more authors … soon.
